Who we are
MY FREE QR is a free, browser-based QR code generator built by MY FREE QR, based in United States. We set out to make a tool that does one thing well: turn your links, contact details, Wi-Fi credentials, and more into scannable codes — quickly, privately, and at no cost.
Why we built a no-expiry QR generator
Many QR code services push you toward "dynamic" codes that route through their servers, require a paid plan, and stop working when the plan lapses. We wanted the opposite. Our codes are static: your data is encoded directly into the image, so the code never expires, never depends on a subscription, and never sends your content through a tracking server. You download the image and it is yours forever.
Our privacy-first approach
QR encoding happens entirely in your browser. The tool does not transmit, persist, track, or store what you enter — not your links, not your Wi-Fi password, not your contact details, and not your logo. There are no analytics scripts added by this tool that follow you across the web, and we do not collect your email to use the generator. Refreshing the page clears your input.
We do use cookies for analytics and, with your consent, advertising — but only after you choose to allow them through our cookie banner. Read our full Privacy Policy for the details.
Static means straightforward
Your data is encoded directly into the QR image, not routed through our servers. The QR itself never expires. We cannot change a downloaded code or guarantee that a third-party website it links to will stay online.
Share thoughtfully
Anyone who scans your QR code can read its content, including a Wi-Fi password or contact details. Downloaded images are saved by you, not by us. Check the content and test scanning before sharing.
